  • Training is a combination of courses "GSM - Network Principles and Signalling (TS2G-B-01)" and "GSM - Scenarios (TS2G-B-02)"
  • Structure of the GSM network - functionality of its parts and how they interact
  • Network nodes and their functions, network interfaces
  • Radio interface, physical and logical channels
  • Network security - authentication and ciphering
  • Description of basic procedures: Registration into the network, Mobile Originating / Terminating Call, Mobile Originating / Terminating SMS, Handover, Roaming, Location Update
  • Basic principles of signalling
  • Protocols used in the GSM network - task of the protocols
  • Dedicated scenarios describing GSM network functionality
  • Individual solution of selected scenarios
