  • Evolution and standardization of WLAN
  • Features of Wi-Fi, frequency bands, topologies
  • Description of PHY and MAC layer
  • Security issues in Wi-Fi - authentication, ciphering
  • Comparison of particular Wi-Fi version and other technologies (WiMAX, Bluetooth, ...)
