  • Signalling as a control mechanism for the network
  • Basic principles of signalling and protocol structure
  • Information needed to be exchanged on particular interfaces
  • Protocols used in the SS#7 network - task of the protocols, messages, parameters and procedures
  • Complete signalling procedures explained on real signalling traces: Originating Call; Terminating Call; IN Call
  • Real signalling traces - how to solve problems using signalling analysis
