  • For anybody knowing the basic principles of GSM network and needs to sort the knowledge in the wider context
Prerequisites
  • Basic understanding of GSM network functionality (e.g. Course "GSM - Network Principles and Signalling" from our course list)
Content
  • Dedicated scenarios describing GSM network functionality:
  • Registration to the home and other network, Deregistration
  • Location update – within one VLR, with previous VLR, directly with HLR
  • Calls - originating/terminating calls in home/roamed fixed/mobile network
  • Handover - Intra BSC, Inter BSC, Inter MSC
  • Supplementary Services
  • SMS
  • Individual solution of selected scenarios
Training Environment
  • Max. 12 students per course
  • Training materials are provided
  • The course may be adapted in content according to customer needs, adaptations not requiring modification of training materials are provided at no extra charge (-C,-S)
  • Additional after-class consultation and discussion following each course day's training are provided free of charge
